Sony Announced PlayStation 5 release date in India; Check out the Details

Big news for gaming enthusiasts in India. Sony has revealed the release date of PlayStation 5 for their Indian lovers. Though, the company had started selling its latest gaming console worldwide from November itself. But due to silly copyright & trademark issues, the company was facing legal hurdles to enter the world’s second-biggest internet market. However, Sony has sorted out all the problems to enter the Indian market.

On January 1st, 2021, the official Twitter account of PlayStation India published a short notice. That mentioned all the details about the pre-order & release date of PlayStation 5 in India. They also mentioned some of their retailers and stores from which gamers can purchase this powerful gaming console. After all, the previous year was an important one for Sony & Microsoft both.

PlayStation 5 will be going to launch in India on the 2nd of February 2021. And people who love to get things as quickly as possible can pre-order the gaming console from the 12th of January 2021 across all the major online & offline retailers.

As you can see in the above tweet, gamers can purchase & preorder Playstation 5 from Amazon, Flipkart, Croma, Reliance Digital, Games The Shop, Sony Centers, Vijay Sales, & more. Moreover, Sony already has been struggling with its stock and trying to cope up with the demand. Consequently, they’re facing the same issue in India and filling their arsenal to meet the demand in the Indian market.

And if you already don’t know, PlayStation 5 was delayed in India as the company didn’t hold the trademark of “PS5”. As per the reports, a Delhi resident already filed for trademark PS5 moniker on October 29, 2019. Though, the company has got its rights back & finally launching PlayStation 5 after three months of the global launch.
