GTA V Style Controller Layout

All these GTA games have good control as per their release time. But now, Rockstar has decided to give gamers a surprise with GTA 5 style controller Layout. This improvement will help us play games without any issue. The new controller style is designed for next-gen consoles like Xbox S|X and Play Station 4.
I guess, it’s a big change and we really need it. Because playing GTA 3 with old controls would be very difficult. I’m not saying that those controls were bad but giving them some improvement is the only thing we want.
Immediately Restart a Failed Mission

Just imagine playing one of the toughest missions in GTA 3 and you failed to complete the mission. Now, if you’re playing old GTA 3, then you would’ve to replay the whole mission from the beginning. After reading news of many broken controllers, Rockstar finally decided to allow players to replay from their last checkpoints in missions.
It’s a big relief as I tend to fail missions a lot, and replaying them, again and again, is a frustrating thing. So after this checkpoint update, I can say, I’ll complete missions without breaking my lovely controllers. So if you’re one of those with a short temper, then this biggest improvement is for you.
Graphics Enhancements

To be honest, GTA games have the best graphics of their era. And I never wanted to play them in high-resolution 4K settings, because these games are classics and have their own vibes. But here Rockstar tried to keep its original touch with the betterment of the graphics. As you can see in the trailer, Rockstar has done an amazing job. Even now you can see fingers of your characters in the cutscenes of GTA 3, GTA Vice City, and GTA San Andreas.
Rockstar not only improved the graphics but also successfully kept the real touch of all these games. They improved the textured, shadows, and perfectly balanced reflection to make the environment more realistic. I’m pretty much excited to see the worlds of these games with a new-era touch.
Platform-Specific Features

Rockstar has decided to launch GTA Trilogy: The Definitive addition on platforms like PC, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. So they’d tried their best to let you feel the best gaming experience according to your gaming system. These are the platform-specific changes Rockstar confirmed that will be added in their game.
- Changes for PC: Nvidia DLSS support.
- PS4 & Xbox X: 4K resolution support and up to 60 fps for Play Station 5 and Xbox series X.
- Nintendo Switch: Users can zoom the camera through the touch feature. Also, gyro aiming is here to give you better aiming while shooting your enemies.
New Achievements

This one is for console gamers. Completing missions and adding trophies to your collection is an amazing feeling. So to cheer you up, Rockstar is adding a plethora of trophies to make your collection an attractive part of your gaming life. Each game has a different number of trophies. GTA 3 has 44 achievements, GTA Vice City has 43 achievements, and GTA San Andreas has 48 achievements.
The trilogy has whopping a total of 135 trophies. All game has trophies in activities like wanted achievements, physical achievement, and more. You can get ‘em by completing small and big tasks while enjoying the game.
